In Naga now for Papas wake. I had to stay in Manila another day since learning of his death to attend our last session for the week, receive guests in my office, and make arrangements and notices to the commitments I would miss. Was supposed to be in UST today, Vigan tomorrow and LA Union on Saturday for speaking engagements. First guests yesterday were Richard Rogers, Political and Public Affairs Counsellor and Georgia Lovell, Second Secretary, both of Australian Embassy. They were there to follow up on and discuss Ambassador Bill Tweddells prior invitation for me to visit Australia as their official guest to learn more about their country, observe programs that we can replicate, and explore possible partnership in implementing anti-poverty programs and interventions in the third district of Camarines Sur. The subsequent guests were all from my district - CBSUA President Georgina Bordado, San Antonio, Calabanga Bgy Capt Michael Bordado and Triangulo, Naga City Bgy Capt Monex Arevalo and his entire barangay council. We toured the barangay officials in the House of Representatives to familiarize them with the legislative process of our national laws.
