In Nick Paytons latest open letter, (i.e. the internets chicken-shit way to tell everyone except for the intended recipient what one is thinking about the intended recipient), he calls the entire genre of Hip Hop a parasitic culture that preys on real musicians for their livelihood. Of course I agree with his points that Robin Thicke & Pharrell made their song VERY much like Marvin Gayes Got To Give It Up. ...mainly because they SAY thats what they did! Its not that, but its his stance on hip-hop got me thinking. This is BIG! I now realize that all the clothing manufacturers of the world are merely parasitic con-artists that screw over fabric makers (by buying fabric from them) in order to make their garments. Shame on them for not making their own textiles. And my own mom! I NEVER saw her ground her own flour from wheat grains for her baking... (or should I say faking)...MAN, I cant believe I thought all that from scratch deliciousness was really good! I was #BAMboozled! And dont get me started on the entire automotive and technological industries: They ALL outsource to other companies to build their individual components for them. #SHAM The world is certainly fortunate that Mr. Payton had the drive as a youngster to study instrument making so he could build his own trumpet... and Im really glad that he invented his own system of writing music AND his own proprietary methods of playing (as well as recording) so that he wouldnt be parasitically stealing the credit away from the real artists that first did all those things. Lastly, Im glad he invented Facebook so he has a forum to post his open letters. #PAM #KeepsShitFromSticking
