In Nigeria, people work for months and dont get paid their salaries. But when a government finally does she is celebrated. Infact when a Governors acheivements are mentioned, prompt payment of salaries are one of them... Does it mean they pay peoples wages from their pockets?? I dont really understand. I thought when someone genuinely earns their pay it shoudnt be listed amongst a government achievements, even the holy book is clear on working and wages... Things we should celebrate about a Government are it ability to provide Basic Amenities such as, Clean water, Standard Hospitals , Roads, Good Schools et al... and not salaries that we worked hard to earn.
