In November 1987 I walked in to Southwood Theater on Ben White Blvd to sell an advertisement for Just 4 Kids Magazine to the manager. I met a bold man who shared his God story with me that afternoon. He has shared his story of Gods download on many of his TV programs. It was a God moment that changed his destiny. After helping and staying all night with 2 young men who worked for him who took mushrooms he went home and while he brewed a cup of coffee .... God had him write a 14 division chart and how it all worked together. From the moment I met J. Craig Gandy I knew he was anointed with a huge mission from God. We became friends and soon I started working with him. His wife left him because she said God was personal and he was crazy. She even told him he would start witnessing on the streets and at grocery stores. She filed for divorce and told his father and judge that he was crazy because of his sharing God. Within a month of his divorce his ex-wife kidnapped their three children and took them to Germany. The judge gave him custody and orders to bring them back here. However this country does not abide by international kidnapping laws and he could not get them out of the country and bring them back. Craig loves his children so much that he went in to severe depression. The only thing that helped him was opening up the bible every day to a scripture that helped him make it through the day. Our friendship turned to marriage and when Jonathan Gandy was born Craig came out of his depression. God started to restore his fatherhood. Jamie Gandy our youngest child became his joy. Craig loved my 5 children and gave them so much love. He was the first man to hold my baby Jennifer Jay Burnell when she was only 6 months old. Lewis Burnell, Christina, Robert and Brad Burnell all love him so much. I can not imagine how we would have made it without him. Life was good. He was the manager of Family Bookstore for 3 years in Killeen. Then we started JCI Productions and JCI Ministries. He started writing business plans from God and we opened our own bookstore in Belton Texas Beacon of Light Christian Storehouse. We started a Shepherds Guide directory in central Texas killeen area. We had a coffee house and small postal service business. Craig sold Christian products for military divisions all over the nation and we were one of the first to market on the internet before Amazon. Then he started working on a worldwide directory for military institutions. Then he received a letter from his oldest daughter that his son had been in a car accident. He was devastated. He had trusted God that even though he could not be with them that God was taking care of them. His faith was greatly tested. Jeff, his oldest son came to stay with us during the summer that he was 18 years old. Jeff was surrounded by our christian friends and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He went back to Germany and started a home church leading his friends to the Lord. The man that had driven the car in the accident is a missionary today. We lost all of our businesses during this time as Craig was so greatly tested in this trial. We moved back to Austin when Jeff went back to Germany and then to Marble Falls to my moms small lake cabin. Lew went to stay to with my mom, Christina went to College in Cisco, and Robert moved in with his cousin in Marble Falls near school. 3 of my children moved away from me at the same time. That was tough. So with 5 children still at home Craig and I started over again. I started my Just 4 Kids Magazine online In 1998 and I took part time jobs working as a church secretary and advocate for the Battered Womens Shelter. Craig worked part time and started wrote his first book Servant of God. Three years later we moved back to Austin and Craig started writing a manual for marketing to the military. That is when he received his call that Jeff was in a 2nd accident and was paralyzed from the neck down. After a year in the hospital in Germany Craig went to bring Jeff back to live with us. He has taken care of him for 14 years. In 2008 we were once again doing great with our businesses when the banking crash of 2009 came hard against us as most small businesses. Craig had finally finished writing all the business plans with Gods direction from his initial download of 1987. God told him it was finished. We had learned that it was impossible to move forward on even one area without God giving His orders. We were waiting on Gods command. We also learned many valuable lessons over the years like. Gods people will obey His voice. We also learned that we would rather know for sure that a person was sent by God then to spend years with someone that was not on Gods team. In the summer of 2009 I became a producer at Channel Austin and we began our live talk show that fall. Our youngest Jamie, turned 18 on Rash Hashanna. We had a grand celebration! Then we were challenged again having to put everything in storage and becoming homeless on Jan 4, 2010. We learned to trust God every day for provision. We lost everything in storage after 10 months. Craig received a call from the man who bought the storage unit and said he had some files he wanted to give Craig. He buys units all the time and this was the first time he ever returned anything but he could not touch these files. The manager at the storage unit said he had never seen anyone do this in his 15 years of managing units. These boxes were placed in a small unit and it all fit in our old suburban to take with us. The first box Craig opened on the top file was the condensed business plan that God said was ready. I received all my photo albums and Jamie had her treasured Bible among the items returned. God knew what was most special to each one of us. We continued producing television programs and our live weekly program. Over the period of not having a stable address we produced over 680 television programs. Our JCI Live Austin program is on every day as re-runs as well as our many productions of what other ministries are doing. Many people have seen Craigs face on TV and heard the wonderful God Words that flow from his mouth. He is known as the most loving Godly man. I never met anyone who did not love him. He encourages everyone with truth and Gods love. His last program he shared that he does not fear death and has known since he was a child that he would not die. His last on air comment was that his true hearts desire is to use the wisdom that God has given him to take the resources of the earth for the Kingdom of God and lay it at Gods feet. God used my husbands own words to encourage me to be COURAGEOUS in my FAITH and know that I know that I know that God is not finished with my husband. He will use our Faith as a Testimony of His Love. We have learned to be compelled by the Love of God. There are not riches on earth that we desire. Our only desire is the love and presence of God and to be His Obedient Servants for ever! I thank God for the many friends that are pouring out prayers and love to our family. God is building His Kingdom here on earth and we all have a mission to accomplish great and mighty things. Even Jesus disciples talked about these glorious days that we are now living in.
