In November I was pleased to present a summary of our Behavioral Communications research at the annual Institute for Public Relations Trustee Research Symposium at the Yale Club in New York City. The presentation highlights challenges that communicators face when trying to impact attitude or behavioral change. This portion of the 15-minute presentation focuses on the importance of narratives (story-telling) and its potential impact on cognitive processing of communications messages.
