In October 2014, I resigned from Mother Lode Union School District. Part of my reason was due to the reduction of my hours and the financial needs for my family. However, I no longer felt comfortable working at Mother Lode and sent a three page letter to the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent, expressing my concerns. The letter below is what Superintendent Guthrie sent to me. I have blocked out a section which included the names of staff members and a school volunteer, to respect confidentiality. It is my opinion this was unprofessional of the Superintendent to provide me the names. I have highlighted another section in yellow... which includes Mrs. Guthries statement that she wants the most separation between the school district and the independent parent organizations. How can a parent club provide appropriate assistance if we have separation?
