In October, an interview with Reza Aslan in Malaysia caused some upset to the Malaysian government. The appellate court had banned the Catholic Church from using the Arabic word for God in the Bahasa Malaysia section of its weekly newspaper, Herald. Reza thought that was kind of dumb. The government then exercised their control over the airwaves to clamp down on the radio station and it then turned into a lightening rod for activists in support of free speech.
