In October my neighbor and I rescued a momma cat and her 4 kittens from a woods filled with coyotes, hawks and owls. Sadly ,mom was in bad shape , her upper lip had been torn off ,most likely from protecting her babies from a wild animal. She and her kittens all tested positive for leukemia but luckily ,we were able to find the kittens great homes. Mom is with a foster but the foster plans on putting mom outside in February.The Vet said with her injuries and positive leukemia test , being outside during a Michigan winter could kill her. Help! Can anyone offer some advice ? Shes spayed , vaccinated and healthy but Im worried she wont be for long. She has been through so much , she deserves a good life. Suggestions? Thanks so much ! I think youre all great people.:)
