In Phoenix, Oregon, one of our friends was a victim of this crap -- for which the local gestapo road pirates had gotten a special federal grant for the time and hourly wage required for the cop-pedestrian (in Phoenix, OR, he was dressed like a homeless hobo) performing the act of entrapment. In Oregon, theyve doctored the statute requiring the slave driver to stay completely stopped UNTIL the pedestrian gets fully to the OTHER SIDEWALK before proceeding (and, naturally, the road-pirate actor-pedestrian walks at a provoking snails pace . . . meanwhile, other drivers -- ignorant of the statute to wait -- are honking to get outta the way. Our poor friend got sucked-in/suckered-in to this game and, she had to pay a $320 fine (instead of paying her rent that month)! BASTARDS! WHY DO WE THE PEOPLE PUT UP WITH THIS SHIT???
