In Post Racial America, I was stopped for WWB in a neighborhood with a GIGANTIC cup of coffee in my hand (holds about 6 cups).... After being stopped, while waiting to see if my name & license were connected with any warrants, I chopped it up with the very friendly (caucasian) officer who said that they (the police) got A lot of calls about someone who looked like they didnt belong in this neighborhood walking around.... After the experience I must ask myself What level of threat did I pose by being on the street in a BRIGHTLY colored jacket, not even looking suspicious?? #WhosePropertyLineIsTheMiddleOfTheRoad #SuburbanLife #EffYall #ImmaGrownAssMan #WhoDecidesWhetherILookLikeIBelongSomewhere (#EffYall)^3 Maybe in our gentrified communities we should call the police on those who dont look like they belong.... #JustAThought
