In President Obamas State of the Union Address, he spoke of many new ideas and most of them earned partisan applause. He strongly emphasized bipartisanship between the Democrats and Republicans in Congress and himself as a Democratic President. However he has already vowed to veto some of the most important bills to help our country survive and thrive such as Keystone, Iran and immigration. He also announced middle class economics and emphasized that they work. He proposed higher minimum wages, employer paid childcare, and free community college. These proposed policies will hurt all families in America, they will significantly increase taxes on everyone. These are not entitlements, the governments responsibility is not to provide these to people. He wont be bipartisan and his ideas will hurt America more than help it. It was overall a very pro-America speech that people can come to and be proud to be an American however if you look deeper you will see that these policies and his bipartisan lie will hurt america. He showed his socialist tendencies in speech tonight, wanting all people to be equal with high government intervention but with high civil liberties. #SOTU Thanks for your support, Randy Lohman
