In Riga, Latvia - lighting a candle in memory of my family members who perished in the holocaust - at the original site of the Ghetto. The Wall of Names and the Ghetto museum were erected by the Shamir organization where Im a director - dedicated to preserving the memory and history of Latvias perished Jewish population. The list of names of Schneider family members who were murdered in Riga is so long that I feel like a statistical anomaly - my father was one of the lucky few to escape Latvia from the Nazi claws. עם ישראל חי!
