In Scripture, God consistently rewards those who patiently endure suffering, wait for the fulfillment of His promises, and rest in Him during the storms of life. But patience, a fruit of the Spirit, may be one of the most difficult virtues to master. We all struggle with waiting on the Lord, even if we know that good things come to those who wait. But if we do not wait, 1 Samuel tells us that a lack of patience can cause us to miss a blessing. The Bible has not left us empty handed.
