In September 2014 the Law Enforcement International Torch Run Conference was held in New Orleans. Agencies from all over the world, covering 13 different regions, came together to celebrate and to grow in our mission to support individuals with intellectual disabilities. Over 1,000 participants attended the conference and worldwide there are over 85,000 Guardians of the Torch. The purpose of the conference is to educate Law Enforcement Agencies through various seminars on ways to better their programs and raise more money for Special Olympics. Our veryown, Detective Olivia Kalcum was able to represent our department and attend this great event. We will continue to do our best and support the Special Olympics!
