In September of 2013, I lost my long-haired black kitty, Arya, in Henrietta. I was devastated. I received a lot of calls, texts and emails about black kitties. In October 2013, during one of these calls, a lady begged me to take a long-haired black kitty that was trying to get in their home. I felt bad for the poor kitty so I went and picked him up. He wasnt my Arya but he was in such rough shape that I took him home, nursed him back to health and had him neutered, etc. Mr. Tots was up for adoption by November 2013. In early December, I was at the Emergency Vet overnight with one of my other kitties. When I got back home in the morning, my patio door was wide open and all my kitties were inside except for Mr. Tots. For a month, I cried, handed out flyers, talked to people, yelled his name all over the place and nothing...until, I got a text message from a stranger asking if the kitty found on Craigslist that morning was mine. At the same time, another stranger emailed me with the Craigslist ad. Sure enough, it was Mr. Tots. I had to wait for him to show up at the guys house that was feeding him for the last 3-4 days but he was home with me a month after he was lost. I was so overjoyed that as his punishment, he was no longer up for adoption....he is my baby now. I want to thank those two strangers for going out of their way and reaching out to me. They are no longer strangers, but friends. Thank you ladies for all you do to reunite the babies with their owners. You are both a blessing. The first two pics are the pictures that the gentleman who found him posted on CL and the other two are the night we were reunited.
