In Sundays finals we had Jr. Dragster starting it off with RJ Melnik taking on Austin Williams and Williams acutally had problems in time trials with his half scale dragster and had to use his dirt bike which he had won with before. This time would be no different as Williams dialed a 14.38 and Melnik would be doing the chasing dialing a 13.50. Melnik would go RED EYE giving Williams the win light In Sundays Trophy final going for a shot to sweep the weekend we had Berry “BBBBBBBBBBEEEEAAAAAAARRR” Jezewski taking on Jim McCollum. Well Berry would post up 8.24 and doing the chasing as Jim would post up a 9.37. It was close off the hit as .020 separated them at the hit and Berry would break out running 8.22 giving Jim the win light. Then in the final of finals we had Dandy Don Melnik taking on Sam Patrick. A mopar taking on the chevy. Melnik would be your chase car as he would post up 6.22 to Patrick’s 6.38. Melnik would hammer Patrick on the tree a .016 to a .036 taking the win light running a 6.24 to a quicker but losing 6.39.
