In The Hands of The Master Crafts-Man And now, saith the Lord, that FORMED ME from the womb TO BE His servant… - Isaiah 49:5. The saying is true that life without purpose is haphazard therefore fulfilling purpose ought to be the primary goal of every person. Much of the confusion we experience and the pander to trivialities that is rife amongst us are traceable to either the loss of focus or the deliberate feigning of ignorance of God eternal purpose for our lives. We must know that the first thing that must happen after we have realized our election of God in Christ Jesus is the destruction of our biases, our narrow mindedness and the party spirit. The whole human race was created to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Sin has switched to human race on to another track, but it has not altered God’s purpose in the tiniest degree. Our understanding of the nature of God must teach that He is the God of purpose and objectivity. One thing is primary and preeminent from God’s stand point and that is His will and purpose for and in everything. Right from creation, He has never hidden this divine principle – Jer. 1:5, the revelation of our Lord of Himself to Paul was for a purpose – Acts 26:16 and His manifestation on your behalf can only be in keeping with His purpose – 1 John 3:8. It is foolhardy to believe that God made you without a purpose. Myles Munroe declares purpose as the original intent for the creation of a thing and God declares that His purpose for creating you and I is that we may be His servants. That being true, be sure that God will oppose, frustrate and crush any other interest that detracts from the goal. This might give insight into some of the present frustrations you might be undergoing. To make us fit to serve His purpose, He gave His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ so that through Redemption, He could save us and qualify us by clothing us with His very nature as His representatives. Thereafter, He abundantly provides whatever is needful for the accomplishment of His objectives for the life. Can you imagine how lavishly any master provides for a faithful servant and our heavenly Master has promised honour for His servants – John 12:26. God loves you and wants to honour you in this life and hereafter, do not use the life He gave you to serve sinful disobedience. He created you to serve His purpose, never forget that; come to Jesus Christ for it is only in Him you can serve God acceptably.
