In The Name of Allah , The Most Beneficent , The Most Merciful..... As-salam Aleykum warahmatulaah wabarakatuh..... Ma dear brothers & sisters..... Sorcery , Fortune-telling and Divination is due to a lack of faith (kufr) and one of the seven grave sins in Islam. It harms believers and is of no benefit. Allah (S.W.T) has said regarding learning it ; ...........And they learned what harmed them , not what profited them....... ( Al-Baqarah : 102 ).. And He says ; The magician never succeeds wherever he goes . ( Surah Taaha : 69). Infact , the legal ruling concerning a magician is that he should be killed. His earning is futile but most unfortunately , ignorants , tyrants and people of weak faith go to magicians so as to oppress other people or take revenge. Some individuals commit unlawful acts by taking refuge in magicians for exorcism. The prescribed action for a Muslim is to refuge in Allah alone and seek a cure through His Words the Muawwidthaat ( An-Naas and Al-Falaq) and its like.. O Allah , I seek refuge in You lest I misguide others , or Iam misguided by others , lest I cause others to err or Iam caused to err ; lest I abuse others or be abused , and lest I behave foolishly or meet with the foolishness of others...... Ameen Yaa Rabb.
