In The Realm: Jesus Christ and the question of changes. Gentlemen and ladies, When God created this world, he created two things: Heaven and Hell. Our lives are only decided by the choice we make but to advice you all, make the right choice because the more you look, it seems to be the less you see. We all are into the circle of business of making profit; but please do not deceive people; because by doing so you destroy souls and lead them to hell fire. My question is: did Jesus Christ come to change the Law of Moses? I guess the answer is NO. But, if I may shift a little from this NO answer, I will say Yes, Jesus Christ brought changes to the Law of Moses: See the followings: 1; The Holy Book called Bible, has two sections - a; The Old Testament, and b; the New Testament. 2; the Moses law said an eye for an eye, but Jesus Christ said if someone slap you in the right cheek, turn the left cheek for him to slap again, (Mathew 5: 39). Jesus Christ never said respond. 3; in Moses law, Jews never had anything to do with the Gentles, but, Jesus Christ through the conversion of Cornelius in Acts 10, made Peter to baptize the Gentles thereby opening the doors of Heaven to non-Jews. 4; in Moses law there is a provision for Tithe: we were told to pay tithe, this is an old law but Jesus Christ through his principles requested us to give according to our hearts. In the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, (Mathew 20: 1 – 16), we were told that all workers receive equal wage, it does not matter whether you started first or last; it simple means do what is right. 5; in Moses law, we have Ten Commandments, but in the New Testament, Jesus Christ gave us the Two Highest Commandment: a; to love God with all our heart, mind and soul; and b; ‘So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets’. (Mathew 7: 12). This means that we must love our neighbour as we love ourselves. Please, my brothers and sisters, we are one but what divide us is our way of life and the principles we adopt. While we claim to be Christians, we have serious hatred for each other ranging from ignorance to assumption graduating to lack of wisdom thereby giving ourselves indirectly to the powers of the gods and goddesses of the sea. Final question, how many of you have broken or pulled down the wall of Jericho built in your communities through the observation of Osu Caste System? Thus, by the conversion of Cornelius in Acts 10, the Gentles were made free but in your various communities the gentles known as Osu still remain in chain the moment it comes to marriage. Lastly, Jesus Christ brought changes including paying of tithes, as this means that you give according to your heart but be happy when giving and make no promises you cannot keep.
