In Today’s Industry News… The cameras have begun rolling in Western Sydney on Cate Blanchett’s new film, TRUTH. However, leading man Robert Redford has been delayed on other projects, causing a mild panic for producers who are keenly aware that such delays can quickly turn into very expensive obstacles. And after 25 years at the helm of the company he founded, John Bell will step down as artistic director of Bell Shakespeare at the end of the 2015 season. The acclaimed Shakespearean actors departure will coincide with his 75th birthday and the companys 25th anniversary. Bell will hand the reins to co-artistic director Peter Evans, who joined the company in 1996.
