In Washington D.C. tonight to participate in the No Labels National Ideas Meeting. This will start a yearlong process to create a National Strategic Agenda for the country which will be unveiled in October 2015 in time for the 2016 national election. No Labels is dedicated to ending the partisan dysfunction in Washington by replacing polarization with consensus. Republicans, Democrats and Independents working together. I am honored to be one of about 100 state and local elected officials from across the country participating in tomorrows kickoff. Tonight, we had a reception at the British Embassy in Washington. I had the chance to chat with the British Ambassador, Vice President Biden and many members of Congress. Thanks to former Governor and Ambassador John Huntsman for his leadership with No Labels and for giving me the chance to participate. It was an exciting evening and a pleasure to meet colleagues from across the country with the same interest in building consensus for the future of our country. This is long overdue.
