In a NUTShell (and yea--this blurb is from Wiki) Arab Spring - TopicsExpress

In a NUTShell (and yea--this blurb is from Wiki) Arab Spring involved the following last year: "To date, rulers have been forced from power in Tunisia,[1] Egypt,[2] Libya,[3] and Yemen;[4] civil uprisings have erupted in Bahrain[5] and Syria;[6] major protests have broken out in Algeria,[7] Iraq,[8] Jordan,[9] Kuwait,[10] Morocco,[11] and Sudan;[12] and minor protests have occurred in Mauritania,[13] Oman,[14] Saudi Arabia,[15] Djibouti,[16] and Western Sahara.[17] The continuing protests in Turkey are considered by some to be part of the Arab Spring, [18] but this is disputed [19]." Turkey is unlike the other countries that are fighting for their freedom. They are free and fighting to keep it that way--protesting and laying down their lives to avoid having their secular government adopt conservative Islamic rule. Protesters are being arrested based on their location via social media. This is sick and wrong.
