In a dream, I had an interview with God God said, come in, so you would like to interview me If you have time, I said. God smiled and said, My time is eternity to do everything I need, what questions do you have in mind to ask me. What is the one thing that surprises you most about mankind God answered: That they get bored when they are children and are in a rush to grow up, then long to be children again. That they lose their health to make money and then lose their money trying to restore their health. That be thinking so anxiously about the future, they forget the present in such a way that they live neither for the present or the future. They live as if they will never die and die as if they never lived God took my hand and we were silent, After a moment, I said, May I ask one more question of you....God smiled and said, Yes go ahead As a parent what would you like for your children to do? To learn that they cannot make someone love them, what is important is who they love To learn it takes years to build trust and only a few seconds to destroy it To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives To learn that it is not good to compare them selves to others because sometimes better or worse is hidden To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most but is one who has the least To learn that if they dont control their attitudes their attitudes will control them To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open wounds in the persons we love and that it takes many years to heal them To learn if they want forgiveness they must also learn how to forgive To learn that there are persons that love them dearly but simply do not know how to show it To learn that money cant buy happiness To learn that if they are upset at one not to bring it down upon another To learn that it is not enough to forgive others they must forgive themselves also To learn that they become slaves to the lender To learn that they shall reap what they plant, if they plant selfishness they will reap hard feelings, if they plant love they will harvest happiness To learn that they should not provoke their children to wrath and their children will return happiness To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently In closing what would you like for your children to know.....To know that I am full of love, that I forgive, that my grace gives you happiness and to know that I am here for you.....ALWAYS Do you see something in here that maybe you need to talk to God about, he is waiting.
