In a few days it will be a quarter century since I asked Susan to marry me and she said yes (on the battery in the Gazebo my senior year at The Citadel). Throughout years of military deployments, three children, the attacks that come with running for political office, etc.etc we have come through it all. Best decision I have made beyond coming to a saving faith in Christ (and that was all of God!). Look forward to the next chapter in our lives as the kids start to move out this summer. God has been so good!
