In a few minutes I turn 50. Where did it go? Some have children to remind them of where it all went. Some have frames hung in a special room set aside to remind them of hard work and hours spent achieving what they conceived to be their dream. I have the people who made me who I am. I look to them every day. My parents to start with, I thank you soooo very much, not only for the encouragement but, for the discipline. To my High School friends everyone of you, for not letting me forget how i could do what ever I wanted to do and be who I am. To every boss that ever fired me.....I had it coming. To the things I took a chance on but, they didnt pan out. I got back up and tried it again. To the wonderful Drs who I am sure I drove mad because I was not the ordinary patient, sneaking out to go to Jimmies Jigger for a belt and a smoke.. To my wonderful sisters, I love them so. To my new friends, all of them from 87 to the youngest children of my friends. To my friends who have gone on before me, it probably should have been me, instead it was you. Well meet up again. To my musician partners, I never thought I was ever good enough to do what I did it was obviously a gift from GOD... And I still keep giving. To my GOD above and LORD who seemed to watch over my every step, even when I thought I was leading, big mistake, you kept me safe...I thank you... I am truly blessed .......... Oh by the way , I also have 5 snoring dogs right now.......how lucky can you be...
