In a litle village called Hellendorf just north of Hanover, about 400 kms travelled along cycleways, country lanes, minor roads and farm tracks, even maize fields...lost not much ..once though in Hamburg where i arrived by mistake should of taken more care with map but following the river elba or something similar, i was okay with knowing i needed to go southwards away from the city but when the sun went down my reading by the stars was limited with city lights, the sun a far better guide, also got tired and cold after travelling about 100 kms that day....then help from the Lord with a blonde haired angel in a shell service station came to my aid with reassuance though i thought i was travelling in circles but i was on the right path but still an hour from my distination, she then called my friends from her own cell phone who s kindly drove up into city to pick me up...so mistakes i make but are so thankful to the Lord and my great friends from Germany who have provided for me and guided me along the way. Last nite was another highlight on a trip of highlights with a quick race down the autobahn at 180 km/h to Hanover, then to friend of friend house where we played volley ball, drank beer, had hottest home made sauna, swam in Hanover canal, warmed up in sauna again , back to canal, another drink and so the cycle contined and the trip again today towards Frankfurt or should i accept the offer of going kayaking down a winding river for an hour or two?
