In a radio interview this mornin, Connor Boyack, author of Feardom: How Politicians Exploit Your Emotions and What You Can Do to Stop Them, said he wrote his book because he got tired of seein people around him becoming victims of politicians lies. I cannot say enough about that. It struck a major chord with me, because thats my own source of motivation as well. I am not a very emotional person, but it breaks my heart to see my family and friends, people I love, taken advantage of by evil men when it is so clear to me. The pervasiveness of those efforts runs so deep into every crevice of our lives, most people will never know theyre even there. But all the while they indeed are there, exploiting you for your very life essence. Its for that reason I have bittersweet love for the J.R.R. Tolkien quote I often use as a signature in the libertarian blogs: The world has changed. I feel it in the water. I feel in in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it. Observe the below video, see politicians, their speechwriters, and their controllers propagandize a nation. Exploiting us for imperialism and wealth redistribution is the goal. On this night in 04, millions of viewers tuned their minds in to this republican convention. Using these terms repetitiously for hours, they mainlined boatloads of fear and anger directly into the American consciousness through its main arteries - the wires and cables and satellite streams of mainstream media. It takes steady, regular doses of emotional steroids to keep a nation hyped up for war. This is how they do it.
