In a rare move, the Supreme Court may sanction high-powered attorneys for filing an exceptionally complex petition for writ of certiorari. The petition is so technically complex, that it may be indecipherable to the Supreme Court justices. This comes on the heels of many in the patent bar criticizing the Supreme Court for its wildly unpredictable and confusing recent decisions, such as Alice v. CLS Bank. The Federal Circuit was set up decades ago to provide insightful and learned decisions in patent law - to which the current Supreme Court has repeatedly overturned. Was this petition meant as a comment on the Supreme Courts inadequacy and failure to consider the ramifications of its recent patent rulings? posted by - Matt Bycer PS. Read the petition here: scribd/doc/249535939/Sigram-Schindler-Beteiligungsgesellschaft-Petition 10 bonus points if you can explain it to me in less than 100 words. ;)
