In a recent Patna rally of BJP I was surprised by weak General Knowledge of not Mr Modi, a Prime Ministirial candidate but of his P.A who wrote his speech .... Misinterpretation of history is very common by BJP but here he committed many factual blunders...... 1. Chandragupta of Gupta dynasty was a great ruler of Bihar may be he dont know Chandragupta of maurya dynasty was the ruler of present day Bihar:) 2. Alexander The Great was defeated near the bank of Ganga .....though Alexander (sikander retreated from Sutlej after the battle of Hydaspes) that too after defeating a king porus there and leaving his general to rule . He never came near Ganga. 3. If we believe him Taxila University was the great University of Bihar as was Nalanda......Taxila University is much older than Nalanda, Chanakya was a teacher there it is North western part of India and now a part of pakistan and situated near Islamabad. 4. King Ashoka was the only Great king of India .....we all know Akbar is also referred as Akbar the Great .....etc etc Obviously we cannot expect him to know the the Great king of Bihar Sher khan who gave rupees , Road , cannals and so many modern town Sher khan obviously I am reffering to Sher Shah Suri .
