In a recent development at the General Hospital Bonny, the Morgue built by NLNG as a support to Health Care to the Bonny people is planned to be outsourced to a private firm on the basis that the existing morticians cannot operate it even when a very recent audit/survey of the entire Hospital ranks General Hospital Bonny morticians as the best only behind those at BMSH. In my own view, I believe these Bonny men that has against all odds of poor funding, physical and health risk placed themselves and their duties at an esteemable height are been sold out. They should be trained by NLNG or the Rivers State govt to empower them function in the desired capacity as a reward for their steadfastness and high professionalism. All well meaning Bonny men should take this issue to the ears of those who could alter this planned injustice as a way of encouraging people and lifting their hopes that at whatever field they find themselves, if they diligently plough their field, due recognition will meet them.
