In a recent growth cycle, the Lord assisted me to see my vulnerability of fear has many roots, again regarding comfort zones: i.e. in the comfort of the approbation of man, which has to do with setting false expectations for praise, commendation, recognition, approval, and also acceptance. The Spirit assisted me to see how this “need” is connected to pleasing man—not wanting to be misunderstood, unjustly accused and judged, which root is in rejection, and how this fear raises the shield of withdrawal, when my expectation is denied. The thought: I am being unfairly (unjustly) treated The suggestion: You are a blemish or smear in someone elses eye. The provocation: I need to explain myself, to wipe away that smear so that I am not unjustly judged. Which is countered by “But that will look like I am making excuses to justify myself which causes confusion and frustration as I know that cannot return to those bubbles of the past, when “setting the record straight”, presenting my side of things, seemed to bring a more favorable outcome. This again confirms the need to retreat behind the shield of withdrawal, until the upset to my comfort zone passes. It was interesting to look up the word, unjust (as in being unjustly treated), which has to do with lacking in justice or “fairness”; that >>> It is contrary to the standard of right. So, the interpretation is that it is not fair, not just, not right, and is therefore, “wrongful” as an unjustly pronounced sentence, unjust demand, or unjust accusation.
