In a religious versus skeptics group: someone asked who believed in the big bang. Well: the big bang is the most plausible and likely theory to date and all scientific evidence agrees with this so it seems to be more than just a theory, it is close to actually what happened. However I do propose one minor change to make the Big Bang more accurate: A bang is a sudden sound, and it seems too small and brief to describe the magnitude of the entire universe instant expansion. So why not use a word more descriptive of a deep resonant and even persistent sound? A BOOM. Yes, that is my solution: I hereby declare a new society: the Big Boom Society. (giggles).....
