In a welfare State, there is no place of Wine and the Likes !! Democracy is a welfare state – to bring utmost peace, prosperity and happiness to people. But license to sell wine, opium and the open secret selling of unlicensed wine which sometimes becomes poisonous and killing people or slowly ruining many precious lives – the parents loosing their sons, children- their fathers and wives – their husbands and turned helpless loosing their earning ones !! Again this wine is the cause of all sorts of crimes – theft, loot, rape and murder and torture of wife, children and parents – neglecting the sources of income and selling the household valuables to satisfy their wants for intoxicants - bringing miseries for the families !! Mahatma Gandhi was revolting against selling of such intoxicants during British Raj. But alas, the rulers are patronizing the selling of such miseries of the people for more & more revenue ! And, unless & until such selling of wine and the likes are stopped, this democracy can never bring us the Welfare State !!
