In a world where we are over-saturated by celebrities, where celebrities are more human, lets say, than they have ever been, and where the advent of social media platforms gives us more insight on precisely what type of person a celebrity is: I think its perfectly acceptable that people would be sad over the pointless and tragic death of one of their favorites. The fact that other people also lost their lives does not make his death any less of a sad, sad event. Stop castigating people because they didnt know the name of someone theyd have no rightful reason to know.
