In a world with a to do list for ourselves, our kids, or pets, our work and often even for God, do we stop long enough to really know God? We know the names of God. We probably know what He’s doing through us. We may even know what He’s doing in us. But do we stop long enough to know just Him? To know His character? To exist in His presence so that what comes out of us is Him alone? In Matthew 11 Jesus tells us to come to Him, He will give us rest, and to learn from Him. God is doing amazing things in Africa. As you listen to this message you may just re-discover that stopping to be with God could be even better than flip-flopping all over the place to do great things for God, even when His blessings are surrounding all the doing.
