In a year-end interview with WisconsinEye, Gov. Scott Walker today said he does not expect to recommend another income tax cut to lawmakers in his proposed 2015-17 state budget. Other financial pressures – including the need to spend $700 million more on Medicaid over the two years and aids to K-12 schools and transportation funding – will force him to focus again on property tax cuts, Walker added.
