In addition to a librarian being portrayed as a cool comic book hero (Rex Libris, featured in a series published by SLG) theres the Librarian (the TNT series of three made-for-televison movies, an up-coming theatrical release and its own comic book series) in which librarians are knowledgable adventurers responsible for securing the great and magical artifacts of myth and history) is premiering as a series on TNT on December 7th. At last, my sister, Susan M. Frey, university librarian extraordinaire and erudite doctoral candidate, is getting the recognition her ancient and noble calling deserves.
