In addition to all my complaints about what the jury has done to Frank Schaefer, I cant believe that they are requiring the Board of Ordained Ministry to hear Schaefers response to whether he will uphold all of the Book of Discipline at the end of the 30 day suspension. For those who arent good with calendars, that means the jury has mandated a group of pastors and other church leaders to convene just days before Christmas (as if they werent in the midst of one of the busiest times of the church year).
