She, and other liberals, tried to force mainland minimum wage rates on American Samoa, but when the islanders and the businesses operating there warned of job losses, a freeze was allowed. Her understanding of the minimum wage when it comes to government is sound and she has seen what her policies lead to when arbitrary wages are mandated, so why would these people continue beating that drum?
