In advance of what is sure to be an incredible performance tonight by the 2014 New Jersey All-State Orchestra and Chorus, I want to thank all of you public school music teachers across the state, regardless of level or specialty. You are all doing more and more each day, each week, each year with less and less and your successes and hard-fought battles are appreciated. Please know this. It has been my honor to be the conductor of the Orchestra this year and the success of this group, and also of the chorus, is due in great part to your ceaseless efforts. Many, many thanks to all of you who continue to make a great contribution to the musical education of our students, parents, administrators and politicians.
