In al-Khalil (Hebron), Israeli border police at Qeitun checkpoint fired six rounds of teargas and one stun grenade at Palestinian children as they went to school for exams this morning, and ten more teargas canisters as they left. An Israeli police jeep loaded with skunk water was also present at the checkpoint for over an hour, engine on, and with soldiers ready to drive. The stench remains from the last time the Qeitun neighborhood was subjected to skunk water. Its presence this morning was intimidating and provocative, no doubt distracting children from their exams.
