In all of my years of work travel in the U.S. and abroad, the flight attendants constantly remind us In case of an Emergency, always Secure your own Oxygen mask before attempting to help others So I cant help but think of that every time I see another social media post of good Samaritans flying 20 hours to Liberia to pick a fight with Ebola!. Thats wonderful you want to help, I do as well! But shouldnt we be securing our on U.S. soil before going to help others? What good are we to others if we are no good to ourselves? Is saving 1 life there worth infecting all the lives of your friends, family and loved ones here? Well, it isnt to me...Id save every country from all evil things if I could, but nothing is coming before protecting my family and friends. And YES I know Loss and yes Ive seen people die, and thats the exact reason Im not willing to jeopardize losing anymore of the ones around me. Im praying for every person that has been exposed and infected but for everyone else Im saying KEEP YOUR A$$ In the United States and STOP traveling abroad to help with something you cant possibly control. #Merica. #CharlotteNC #NowExposed :(
