In all the denominational churches I went to they all preached the death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ at the Cross. They talked about the forgiveness of sins, salvation, redemption according to their standards and not according The Bible, Gods Word. They also talked about going to Heaven, again according to their standards and not according to The Bible, Gods Word. So many of us when we go to church we believe that what they say is the truth without comparing their words to The Bible, Gods Word! Therefore to know The Bible, Gods Word, is to know the Truth, and to know the Truth is to know when someone is deceiving us, lying to us. For what does The Bible, Gods Word, say: Romans 3:22-26 22 Even the righteousness of God [the believers in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all sins] which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe [trust which is faith]: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His [Jesus Christ] blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth [by choice to trust which is to have faith] in Jesus. Ephesians 1:7 IN WHOM [JESUS CHRIST] WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE; Ephesians 2:8 FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: Hebrews 11:1 NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN. FAITH IS TRUSTING, BELIEVING, TAKING ALMIGHTY GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AT HIS WORD. NOTHING ADDED, NOTHING TAKEN AWAY. PLUS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE AND NO OTHER WAY. Romans 11:6 Amplified Bible (AMP) BUT IF IT IS BY GRACE (His [Gods] unmerited favor and graciousness), IT IS NO LONGER CONDITIONED ON WORKS OR ANYTHING MEN HAVE DONE. OTHERWISE, GRACE WOULD NO LONGER BE GRACE [it would be meaningless]. Notice nowhere in Romans 3:22-26, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Colossians 1:9-14, Romans 10:9-10 , Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 11:6, does it say anything about baptisms, asking for forgiveness, tithing, works, traditions, in order to receive the righteousness of God, to be justified, to receive forgiveness of sins and to receive His Grace, salvation, redemption! Again, Romans 11:6 Amplified Bible (AMP) BUT IF IT IS BY GRACE (His [Gods] unmerited favor and graciousness), IT IS NO LONGER CONDITIONED ON WORKS OR ANYTHING MEN HAVE DONE. OTHERWISE, GRACE WOULD NO LONGER BE GRACE [it would be meaningless]. When we add baptisms, asking for forgiveness, tithing, works, traditions, for receiving salvation [which will not work], we are not believing, trusting, having faith in Jesus Christ dying at the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins which gives us salvation, redemption, Heaven! Therefore NO FAITH! Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him [our Almighty God]: for he that cometh to God must believe [have faith] that He [Jesus Christ] is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Ephesians 1:7 IN WHOM [JESUS CHRIST] WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE; Ephesians 2:8 FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: A CHOICE THAT ONLY YOU CAN MAKE AND NO ONE ELSE!
