In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; – Titus 2:7-8 The scriptures suggest that we should make “righteousness” a habit in our lives. A habit, Beloved is a settled tendency or usual manner of behavior; an acquired mode of behavior that has become nearly or completely involuntary. Therefore, at some point in our Christian experience, doing good is no longer an effort for us, because we have become ourselves, in all things, a pattern of good works: in doctrine uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. Men do not determine their future, they decide their habits and their habits determine their future.
