In all things there is a right order and so it is with living a spiritual life. First, we need to realize that we are not living this life. Second, we need to understand why we are not living this life. Third, we need to accept we have, so far, chosen not to live a spiritual life. So what can we do? Well, we can adopt a loving and kind relationship towards others and receive love and kindness in return. As much as we hurt others, so we hurt ourselves and more. As much as we love others, so we love ourselves and more. We can control our false self and not demand others control theirs. We dont judge. We change our inner responses and not try and change outer conditions. We base our actions on doing good rather than gaining recognition for doing good. We emphasize who we are and de-emphasize what we are. We become our person and not societys person. We understand that we make the choices and accept the consequences, good or bad. We uncover our radiance.
