In amongst all the videos, there is this from Anthony Carbajal, I implore you to watch in its entirety, its what scares the life out of my family with Motor Neurone Disease, Ill explain why. Anthonys family has the familial strain, my own family do not know if we do, and let me tell you, that scares the living hell out of us. We know my Grandad had it, at a time when the MNDA was in its infancy, and research scarce. Why does it scare us, its the unknown, the fear. When I researched my family, we knew my Grandads sister was only in her 20s when she passed. Death certificates will not say Motor Neurone Disease usually. Her own, respiratory failure, that last thing to go. We dont know, as my Dad says his Dad did not want to discuss, whatever happened was too raw. Was it MND, we will never know. Could it be, possibly, and that is scary. Why also does MND hang like a dark cloud, 11 years ago, my Dads sister started to lose mobility, muscle, weight, they could not figure out why. You can only begin to imagine the horrors going though our minds, could it be, is it? She had GBS, which manifests itself in a similar way, but can be recovered from unlike MND, we were relieved to say the least after months. When I was younger, if I limped for more than a week, my Dad would be worried, not usual worry, the worry of Are we next.
