In an attempt to understand the seemingly widespread fear of clowns, I finally broke down and watched It. The movie (a mini-series, I discovered) clocks in at over three hours, which was plenty long enough to tell the tale which ends in a strange, John Carpenter-esque finale. I tried to put myself in the place of a kid watching it, hoping that might inspire a little fear, but I came up short. Seen IT? Thoughts?
