In an effort to bring accurate and up-to-date school budget information to community members throughout the Chatham Central School District, the District has scheduled community budget presentations at the following times and locations: April 29 - Ghent Town Hall, 2306 Route 66, 6:30 p.m. May 5 - Canaan Town Hall, 1647 County Route 5, 6:30 p.m. May 7 - Austerlitz Town Hall, 812 Route 203 (Spencertown) 6:30 p.m. At each of these meetings, Superintendent of Schools Cheryl Nuciforo and representatives from the Board of Education will present the details of the proposed 2014-2015 school budget. Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions and learn the facts about this budget. For more information about these Town Hall meetings, please contact the Office of the Superintendent at 392-1501. The annual budget vote will take place May 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Mary E. Dardess Elementary School gymnasium.
