In an election year especially, its easy to see the ways we differ from each other. Those with agendas keep us focused on things that divide us and pit us against each other: race relations, religious & political differences, etc. This Thanksgiving give yourself a break from all that stuff, and focus on the basics. Try to see your neighbors, family members & even complete strangers as people who have a lot more in common with you than not, and try to be thankful for that.
