In an interview aired on CBS’s webpage President Barrack Obama urged to Russia “move its troops back” from Ukraine’s frontier and that “sending in troops and taking part of a country isnt the way international law works,” also stating that the United States “had no interest in Russia or the Ukraine beyond allowing the Ukrainian people to be able make decisions for themselves and about their lives” This pronouncement comes in the thick of escalating tension between the U.S and Russia over the recent crisis in Ukraine where Russia military forces have seized the city of Crimea and bulked up its military presence on their Ukrainian border claiming it is a military exercise, a claim that Mr. Obama calls a “guise.” You see, my fellow citizens of the world, what President Obama and his administration fail to grasp is that the United States government is in no position to lecture or criticize any government on violating a nations sovereignty or infringing upon international law being that the U.S and NATO have illegally invaded and orchestrated military attacks on Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Yemen, Libya, among many more, with no consideration for international law. So it is somewhat laughable when the world’s leading invader of other countries and war machine lectures other nations on upholding international policies. The American people, and surely the American soldiers, are tired of engaging in wars to fulfill the interest of corporate agendas. The world is fed-up with the United States policing the entire planet to secure democracy and equality -and an array of other beautiful-sounding but rarely practiced words that we dont employ- but when any non-western country does anything against the rules, the leading practician of international crime becomes its greatest opposing critic. -ConciousTuro
